In addition, the routes between the bases have watchtowers (two on each side), which slow down the enemy forces. The key element of the game is to choose the right units for the tasks and opponents. Cards activating various abilities and bonuses also play an important role. Since summoning a character and activating special actions requires cards, Blitz Brigade: Rival Tactics feels more like a card game. Players need to develop their deck, gain better and better cards and choose them according to their style of play and the capabilities of their opponents.
