The game's visuals look much better than the previous part of World Series Baseball. The improvements included mainly the appearance and animation of the players. We can still count on a professional commentary, this time performed by Ted Robinson and Rex Hudler. World Series Baseball 2003 has a simple multiplayer mode for two people.
