During gameplay, you control Skylar from the third-person perspective and explore huge, open maps, and avoid traps. The title features an arcade combat system that enables you to fight enemies in both close combat and with the use of various ranged weapons. Collecting items scattered around the world plays an important role. Some of them simply boost your score, while some grant useful bonuses. The latter primarily concern upgrades to the heroine’s cybernetic parts and enable you to unlock additional functions – e.g. the Magnetic Glove or the Jetpack.
