Hollow Knight: Silksong is a two-dimensional platformer belonging metroidvania sub-genre. The game is the continuation of Hollow Knight and both titles were developed by Team Cherry. Plot In Hollow Knight: Silksong we play as Hornet, the princess of the insect kingdom of Hallownest. She is captured and transported to an unknown domain. She must regain her freedom and discover why she suffered such a fate. A pilgrimage to the highest peak of the land will be necessary to achieve these goals. Mechanics In terms of gameplay, Hollow Knight: Silksong is a development of the ideas from the first part. So we get a two-dimensional platformer of the metroidvania type, putting a lot of emphasis on both combat and exploration.
