The character editor allows us to, for example, generate new players and then choose their role on the cricket pitch, their mentality, and a number of various abilities that they will use in sports competition. Naturally, we also have to determine their appearance — players can even have tattoos. Another highlight of the game is the possibility of importing any of over 20 thousand players from the previous installment of the series Technical aspects The biggest novelty of Don Bradman Cricket 17 for PC, XONE and PS4 in comparison with its predecessor is the introduction of a new engine which features an advanced lighting system that influences, among others, the realistic appearance of cricket players skin (according to the developers, it is nearly photorealistic). It isn’t everything, though. Thanks to the new technology, players look more realistic, while gameplay resembles a TV broadcast.
